The organisers of the prestigious ITS World Congress, ERTICO – ITS Europe have signed the contract for the West Midlands to host the 2027 event at Birmingham’s NEC.

ERTICO CEO Joost Vantomme and West Midlands Combined Authority Deputy Mayor Sharon Thompson put pen to paper at the ITS UK Parliamentary Reception.

Mr Vantomme commented how “Birmingham is not only a nice city with canals and everything, it has also a fabulous Transport Authority, [and a] fabulous transport system” while Ms Thompson responded by saying that “on behalf of the West Midlands, I want to thank you all for placing your trust in us”.
