The Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress 2027’s exhibition and partnership sales have been launched during the 2025 running of the event in Atlanta.
A team from Transport for West Midlands have been meeting congress visitors from around the world, explaining why they should attend Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre in October ’27.
“Talking to people, I can feel a buzz, and a lot of interest in visiting,” commented Chris Lane, who is leading TfWM’s work in hosting the event. “They’re keen not only to experience the great innovations in transport technology, but also to see the many great sites and cultures the UK has to offer.”
Around 15 thousand people are expected to attend between 25 and 29 October 2027, and the West Midlands team are discussing opportunities for companies to exhibit and build their brands and awareness.
“There are hundreds of companies here in Atlanta, and we’re hoping to chat to as many as possible,” Mr Lane continued. “Initial conversations really have made me confident that we will be able to deliver the congress we want to, to leave a lasting positive impression about British ITS.”
The Birmingham team also had a chance to meet up with the hosts of next year’s Congress from South Korea, and had reciprocal meetings on each other’s stands.
Seven companies are exhibiting on the UK & ERTICO ITS-Europe Pavilion. They are: AGD and its sister company MAV systems, Immense, Intelligent Instruments, Navtech Radar, Nicander and Zenzic. Britain’s Consul General in Atlanta, Rachel Galloway, visits the Pavilion on Tuesday 26 August.
The stand is shared with ERTICO – ITS Europe which will feature cutting-edge mobility solutions from its Partner HERE Technologies, ITS Sweden member Triplesign System AB, as well as ERTICO’s own Innovation Platform, Enhanced European Valet Parking (EVAP).
