A research project led by WSP Future Mobility Consultant Lawrence Penn has been showcased by Innovate UK at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The CAV Road Scoring Index aims to create a methodology to assess the readiness of the road network for Connected and Automated Vehicles by assessing the quality of the physical and digital infrastructure that underpins their operation.
“What started out as a masters dissertation has grown so much over the last year and I can’t wait to see what comes next as I continue to develop it with backing from WSP,” Lawrence Penn wrote on LinkedIn.
Innovate UK attends CES to both learn about latest technology and also promote British business and expertise to the world.
