WJ Group rebrands JMS under WJ banner

WJ Group has announced that as of today (1 April), its JMS and Textureblast brands will become WJ Surface Treatments, a trading division of WJ North.

JMS currently operates across three distinct markets: highways, marine and surface preparation. Moving forward JMS will be incorporated into the WJ Group, trading in the UK as WJ Surface Treatments and bringing together all of WJ’s retexturing services as well as continuing to serve the Marine and Industrial markets.

Each market will be serviced by a dedicated website; all highways retexturing services will be located on wj.uk; marine will now be served with a new specialist website wjmarine.com to ensure greater clarity and focus on these service lines; whilst surface preparation, coatings and bridge-related services will continue to be provided and now have their own dedicated website at wjindustrial.co.uk

The merger and incorporation of the JMS and Textureblast businesses in WJ Surface Treatments brings the multiple brands under a single umbrella. This will simplify its service offering for customers following a period of growth that has included multiple acquisitions and the development of specialist sub-brands.

Wayne Johnston, CEO at WJ Group said: “We’ve grown significantly over the years, bringing together a range of specialist capabilities through acquisitions and organic development. The merger of JMS and Textureblast into WJ Surface Treatments bring more of our organisation together under one group while still reflecting the specialist nature of the services we provide.”

The company says the change does not affect the team, scope or delivery of services and “instead, it enhances how these services are structured and communicated, aligning with WJ Group’s mission to create safe, sustainable journeys for all. The same experienced team will continue to support customers, with existing relationships and standards remaining fully intact. Overall, this development provides a clearer proposition, increased specialism and an improved customer experience while maintaining the quality and trust the market expects.”
