Civil engineering specialists Crown Plus is beginning its second decade with a new Managing Director. Since joining the company in September 2025 as Executive Director, Jenny Moten has played a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s growth, culminating in her appointment as Managing Director in less than a year.
Her appointment marked the beginning of a transformative period for the business, during which Crown Plus has doubled revenue, expanded its workforce by 40%, and invested more than £2m in plant and equipment to strengthen delivery capabilities and support larger-scale projects.
Jenny brought with her infrastructure expertise gained through senior roles at National Highways, Amey, Cadent and Core Highways, and her leadership comes at a defining moment for the company, as 2025 saw the business celebrate its 10-year anniversary, a decade, the company says, ‘defined by innovation, resilience, and a commitment to sustainable highway drainage remediation solutions.’

Founded in 2015 by Gary Price and Paul Conner, Crown Plus was built on a vision to deliver more efficient and environmentally responsible solutions to the highways sector. Over the past 10 years, that vision has evolved into a thriving business with a growing national footprint.
A turning point came in February 2025, when Mercia Ventures invested just under £4m into the business. At the time, Crown Plus had already almost tripled its turnover over the previous three years, demonstrating both market demand and the strength of its service offering.
That investment created the platform for the company’s next phase of growth, but it has been the strategic leadership and renewed direction under Jenny that has truly accelerated its momentum.
