AtkinsRéalis has been appointed by Hampshire County Council to its new four-year civil engineering, highways and transportation framework, which will support the delivery of infrastructure projects across the south of England.
Through the Council’s Gen5 Consult Transport, Highways & Infrastructure Consultancy Framework, AtkinsRéalis is one of three suppliers appointed to Lot A (multi-disciplinary services). Managed by Hampshire County Council, the framework is also open to public bodies across England including local authorities, NHS trusts, police, fire services and schools, giving AtkinsRéalis a route to market beyond the county boundary.
From 2026 to 2030, AtkinsRéalis will provide multi-disciplinary services in support of large-scale projects, spanning sustainable transport planning and design, civil and structural engineering, environmental and ecological services, and infrastructure technology including intelligent traffic systems and BIM. AtkinsRéalis’ scope also extends to community integration, strategic planning, safety audit and management, and construction estimating and commercial management.
Kelly Kilby, AtkinsRéalis Client Director for Local Transport Frameworks (pictured), said:
“Hampshire has one of the strongest regional economies in the UK and has set out clear ambitions to improve connectivity for businesses and communities. We have the local teams, the multi-disciplinary capability and the track record in the south of England to support Hampshire County Council and other public bodies in delivering on those ambitions.”
