Several overnight closures will take place on the A14 in Suffolk in June as National Highways’ work to remove, reconstruct and resurface a stretch of the road approaches completion.
A series of overnight closures will allow the team to complete final tasks and resurfacing work on the A14 junction 47a Haughley to 49 Tothill reconstruction scheme. These are taking place on the eastbound and westbound carriageway, and started yesterday.
The westbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am as follows:
- Saturday, 8 June
- Sunday, 23 June
- Friday, 28 June
- Saturday, 29 June
The eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am as follows:
- Friday, 7 June
- Monday, 10 – Saturday 15 June – each night
- Monday, 17 – Saturday 22 June – each night
- Monday, 24 June – Thursday 27 June – each night
- Saturday, 29 June
Drivers should allow extra time during their journeys.
