Atkins, Mott MacDonald and Jacobs have all been awarded several contracts by Transport Scotland as part of the trunk roads framework.

The consultants were awarded the work through Transport Scotland’s Asset management framework, including work that covers updating manuals through to road asset management plans and training courses.

Atkins won five seperate contracts, Jacobs three and Mott Macdonald one.

The Scottish Government said the multiple framework agreement for asset management enables the continuation of Transport Scotland’s Asset Management Improvement Programme (AMIP).
