In the latest round of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet re-jig, all traces of Roads Minister Lilian Greenwood has been removed from the Department of Transport website’s Our Ministers section and she has been replaced by 27-year old Keir Mather, Member of Parliament for Selby.
Mr Mather was previously the House of Commons Assistant Whip until his appointment as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at DfT this morning.

Ms Greenwood announced on X that she was “excited” to be returning to the Whip’s office as Vice-Chamberlain of His Majesty’s Household.
Proud of the work I’ve done as Roads Minister in @transportgovuk and a huge thanks to @Heidi_Labour & the team, it’s a role I have loved.
