Traffic technology firm Clearview Intelligence is offering local authorities a desktop solution to monitor journey times.

Working with HERE Technologies, Clearview says its JTM application allows traffic managers to monitor flows with no need to install anything at the roadside – removing any risk associated with physically going out onto the network.

Clearview says the idea is to help transport professionals understand the changes in traffic on our roads as we come out of the COVID-19 lockdown. It’s providing the application with its Insight platform, for two months with a fixed number of calls.T

The company adds that users may wish to start monitoring certain routes as soon as possible in order to then monitor the same route in a few weeks’ time as rules are further relaxed. It’s offering a 20-minute virtual walk through to ensure users can set everything up and make the most of this opportunity.
