Econolite becomes first North American provider to achieve SOC 2 and SOC 3 benchmark for its cloud-based ATMS platform

Econolite Group has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Econolite Systems, Inc.,has successfully completed an independent SOC 2 Type II audit and received an SOC 3 report with no exceptions for its industry-leading cloud-based Centracs®Mobility Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) Platform.

As the first North American provider to achieve this third-party attestation level, Econolite sets a new industry benchmark, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the highest standards for data security, reliability, integrity, and customer trust. The rigorous audit was performed by award-winning CPA firm, Sensiba, LLP.

“SOC 2 Type II is more than just recognition of compliance, it’s third-party validation of the trust and transparency we’ve earned through our culture of rigorous security and compliance practices throughout the software organization,” said David Spinney, Vice President, Software at Econolite Systems. “Today’s cybersecurity landscape demands assurances for up-to-date compliance and continuous renewal. This certification reinforces our ongoing commitment to protecting sensitive data and holding the company and our products to the highest standards.”

SOC 2 Type II report is governed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It validates an organization’s cloud-based security, availability, processing integrity, and confidentiality process controls. This report covered the entirety of the Centracs Mobility platform. The resulting clean SOC 2 Type II report with no exceptions confirms that Econolite System’s internal controls and Centracs Mobility meet the stringent Trust Services Criteria for security operations on an ongoing basis. This assures Econolite customers that their quality data is protected by industry-leading security measures and best practices.
