ERTICO – ITS Europe and Young Mobility Network bring talent and industry together

By connecting young professionals with companies and mobility leaders, a new collaboration between the ERTICO – ITS Europe and Young Mobility Network (YMN) strengthens ITS European Congress in Istanbul as a platform for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and future-ready talent development.

At a time when the transport sector is undergoing rapid transformation, shaping the future of mobility requires more than technology alone – it requires people. This collaboration is built on the belief that meaningful progress happens when young talent and industry come together to learn from one another, co-create solutions, and build lasting connections.

The collaboration between ERTICO and YMN aims to enhance the ITS European Congress in Istanbul, taking place from 27–29 April 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, by placing young professionals at the heart of the event.

“ERTICO’s collaboration with the Young Mobility Network reinforces the importance of young professionals and emerging leaders within the Congress and supports a long-term approach to collaboration extending to future editions,” says Didier Gorteman, CFO & COO, ERTICO – ITS Europe.

“This reflects ERTICO’s broader commitment to investing in future talent and leadership across the mobility sector.”

Through targeted activities and a dedicated platform for exchange, the collaboration creates new opportunities for emerging talents to engage directly with organisations shaping the mobility landscape.

Anna Filby, Founder & CEO Young Mobility Network said:

“The future of mobility needs diversity, connection, and action. Through the collaboration between YMN and ERTICO, ITS European Congress in Istanbul becomes a place where young talent meets industry. Expect real interaction, fresh connections, and new perspectives – this is YMN’s first major event in Turkey, and we’re beyond excited to bring the energy.”

A key highlight of the ERTICO-YMN collaboration will be the Talent Matchmaking Session, jointly organised and held during the congress on 28 April 2026 in Istanbul. Designed to go beyond a traditional career event, the session will provide an interactive, informal setting where young professionals, industry experts, and companies can connect directly, exchange perspectives, and explore opportunities for collaboration across the mobility ecosystem.
