Florida launches new Traffic Management Advisory System using Causeway one.network

Causeway Technologies, developer of the leading digital work zone and road management platform, Causeway one.network, today announced that Osceola County, Florida selected the platform as the foundation for its new Traffic Management Advisory System (TMAS). Home to the southern portion of Walt Disney World and major I-4 reconstruction, Osceola County faces extraordinary transportation pressures and has deployed TMAS to improve driver awareness, protect roadside workers, and strengthen real-time public communication.

The recent launch of TMAS is part of Osceola County’s initiative to deploy modern transportation technologies that improve mobility and communication for the public. Powered by the Causeway one.network platform, the TMAS system enables the County’s Transportation and Transit teams to more effectively manage lane closures, construction activities, and real-time traffic disruptions. By sharing live updates with popular navigation apps like Waze, Google Maps, and Apple Maps, the system helps drivers plan better journeys, avoid delays, and stay safer around active work zones.

To bring the TMAS system to life, Osceola County deployed three of the Causeway one.network platform’s flagship modules – Plan Share, Traffic Management, and Live Link – to improve how work zones and transportation activities are managed and communicated both internally and externally

By adopting Traffic Management, Osceola County can coordinate more effectively across departments, utilities, and contractors when planning roadwork and managing the right-of-way, reducing conflicts and ensuring smoother project delivery. It also enables faster, more effective responses to emergency events.

The Plan Share module further supports the County’s coordination by streamlining traffic control plan review workflows, visualizing impacts and overlaps, and evaluating proposed closures using real-world map context.

To extend those benefits to the roadway, the Live Link mobile app allows authorized County crew members to instantly share their location, lane closures, reduced speed limits, and the active status of work zones directly with navigation apps.

Osceola County also recently rolled out the Causeway one.network platform’s embedded map on the County website to enhance public communication around right-of-way (ROW) disruptions. This tool gives residents real-time visibility into road closures and construction activity on an interactive map, with the option to sign up to receive street-specific traffic alerts.

“We’re proud to support Osceola County as they lead the way in delivering smarter mobility, greater transparency, and safer streets for their community,” said Paul Madeira, Chief International Growth Officer at Causeway Technologies. “TMAS is a great example of how local governments can harness technology to work more efficiently and serve the public better.”
