Four companies win £360m Yorkshire Highways Alliance deal

Four companies have won places on the Yorkshire Highways Alliance which covers highways and transport projects across the county.

Balfour Beatty, BAM Nuttall, Farrans and John Sisk will all deliver projects valued over £7m.

The framework is used by Leeds Council and the wider Yorkshire Highways Alliance, including Bradford, Wakefield, Kirklees Council, York and Calderdale councils.

It will also be available to any local authorities or contracting authorities who are a wholly owned subsidiary of the local authorities within the Yorkshire and Humber region.

A framework for smaller works up to £6m was created in 2020.
