Mapping and data company HERE is offering help to SMEs during the Coronavirus crisis by giving them access to a new route planning tool that helps them optimise the delivery of goods and services.

HERE WeGo Deliver is designed to help businesses plan and dispatch a delivery service without software development or implementation costs. It’s based on the company’s existing work across the global transport and logistics industry.  

“Manually organising and sequencing multiple delivery stops and drivers, is time-consuming, and the margin for human error is significant,” explained HERE’s Head of Fleet Applications Christoph Herzig. “HERE WeGo Deliver makes it simple for both the business owner and driver by easy uploading, optimising, viewing and dispatching of routes through a web-based dashboard.”   

It works by uploading order destinations and number of drivers to an online planning dashboard, which then lists a route and delivery sequence.
