The UK’s Intelligent Transport Systems Industry Association, ITS (UK), is leading an offer to small and medium enterprises to take a place on the UK’s pavilion at October’s ITS World Congress in Hamburg.
The UK will have a significant presence in the exhibition, with a large stand supported by Innovate UK, Visit Britain, the Department for Transport, Connected Places Catapult and Transport for the West Midlands.
ITS (UK) is coordinating an offer for SMEs to book some space on the stand, which makes exhibiting affordable, with just £1,000 needed to secure a space. Larger companies who wish to be part of the UK Pavilion rather than take their own space are asked to pay £2,000.
Participants will get their logo or picture and a small write-up of their organisation visible on the stand as well as space to exhibit and meet people.
Four organisations have already signed up so other organisations interested should get in touch as soon as they can to avoid missing out.
“ITS (UK) has many years of experience bringing members onto a UK stand at conferences, so it is great they are delivering this important role this year,” commented ITS (UK) Vice Chair Karla Jakeman of Innovate UK. “The World Congress gives the UK a great opportunity to showcase the amazing work we do in transport technology and we’re looking for great, innovative companies to show off what they do and are delighted to offer great value space for them. I am so looking forward to seeing people in person in Hamburg and having plenty of SMEs and other businesses on our stand will create a real buzz demonstrating UK solutions to support Britain building back better.”
The ITS World Congress takes place in the German city of Hamburg from 11-15 October. More details are here.
