ITS UK has announced the appointment of three new members to its Board: Jo Field of JFG Communications, Chacasta Pritlove of Google Cloud and Claire Spooner of Innovate UK.
The three industry leaders bring extensive experience across transport, digital transformation, public affairs and innovation, strengthening ITS UK’s leadership as the organisation continues its work to support the delivery of a cleaner, safer and more efficient transport network.
Jo Field (main picture), Founder & Chief Executive of JFG Communications, joins the Board with more than 20 years’ experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement and transport industry leadership.
On her appointment to the ITS UK Board, Jo said:
“I’m delighted to join the ITS UK Board at such an exciting time for transport where new technologies and innovation are playing a crucial role in driving the UK’s economic growth. I’m also looking forward to sharing my diversity and inclusion expertise to help the transport technology sector create opportunities for everyone, build partnerships that reflect society, and ensure innovation benefits all communities.”
Chacasta Pritlove (below), Head of Transport at Google Cloud UKI, brings invaluable skills as a long-standing technology leader and a representative of one of the world’s biggest tech companies.

Speaking on joining the Board, Chacasta said:
“I’m honoured to join the ITS UK Board. As technology advancement continues at pace, I look forward to working with members and the Government to drive a secure, integrated, and data-driven transport system, helping harness emerging technologies like Agentic AI to deliver resilient mobility for all.”
Claire Spooner (below), Director of Mobility at Innovate UK and a key figure in the UK’s Net Zero innovation agenda, will support ITS UK with her deep knowledge of how public sector can support innovation in transport.

Claire remarks:

This sector is transforming how we move people and goods, driving innovation that underpins a cleaner, smarter and more connected future. I look forward to working with colleagues to accelerate progress towards Net Zero and ensure technology delivers benefits for everyone.”
On the appointments, ITS UK Chair and ITS Projects Director at Mott MacDonald, Catherine Whitfield, said: “On behalf of the Board of Directors of ITS UK, I look forward to welcoming Jo, Chacasta and Claire to the organisation.
