LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival – Welcome the debutants

Every year, the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival brings together local authorities, industry partners, and suppliers to share practical innovation and real-world solutions – and 2025 is no exception. With new launches, live demonstrations, and first-look previews, this year’s event offers even more opportunities to engage with what’s new and next for the sector.

Here’s a quick roundup of some of the new innovations making their debut at this year’s festival which starts tomorrow, 2 July, in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire:

Multevo to Launch UK-First Recycle, Rejuvenate and Repair System
Multevo, the festival’s Main Partner, are exclusively launching their insitu recycling patch repair system – an efficient, long-lasting low carbon solution for pothole and patch repairs.

Using no virgin asphalt and producing zero waste, the system is powered by a combination of hydrogen and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), and needs just one machine to complete up to 150m² of repairs per day. It’s fast, road legal, and opens up traffic immediately after repairs – cutting disruption, costs, and emissions all in one go.

Want to see it in action? Multevo’s live demonstration takes place at 2:30pm on 02 July, following a technical training session that morning at 10:45am.

Castle Surveys to Launch Cutting-Edge Mobile Mapping System
Castle Surveys will be unveiling the Leica TRK Mobile Mapping System, state-of-the-art technology that allows survey-grade data to be gathered from within a vehicle. Designed to collect multiple datasets simultaneously – including LiDAR data and high-resolution imagery – it improves efficiency, safety, and overall quality of results.

Visitors will be able to see the system on display on Stand 67 and explore its ability to create detailed topographic maps, 3D models, and asset inventories.

INSPECH to Launch New Road Networks Capability
INSPECH will be showcasing its new Road Networks feature – an upgrade to its AI-based software for road condition assessment and strategic maintenance planning. The new capability enables users to view data from multiple inspections in aggregate across defined areas of the road network, rather than managing each inspection separately.

This new feature allows users to combine inspections of the same report type (such as PCI or PAS) into a single, map-based view. Users can quickly access the latest condition of each road section, identify inspection history and data gaps, and build a clearer story to support proactive planning – giving local authorities clearer visibility and stronger tools, with fewer clicks.

Catch it on display at Stand 41 during the festival.

Meon to Reveal World-First Road Marking Machine
Meon will be unveiling a world-first road marking machine at this year’s festival – a new solution that delivers traffic-ready markings in under one minute, regardless of weather conditions. Designed to reduce disruption and boost efficiency, the system addresses a critical industry challenge: how to apply markings quickly and reliably, even in difficult conditions.

Want to see it in action? Meon’s live demonstration takes place at 2:00pm on 02 July, following a technical training session that morning at 11am.

Roadmaster’s to Launch Next-Gen Micro Pothole Repair Machine
Potholes in cycleways, greenways, and narrow lanes just got easier to fix. Roadmaster will launch its SP200-FB Spray Injection Patcher – a next-generation machine designed to revolutionise how potholes are repaired in tight and hard-to-reach spaces. Compact, agile, and operated by a single driver, it makes urban and rural maintenance faster, safer, and more cost-effective.

Festival attendees can find Roadmaster at Stand 10 in the Outdoor Exhibition Area.

Rosehill to Launch Innovative Drainage System
Rosehill Highways will be unveiling its new Rosehill Drainage System – a practical, sustainable solution designed to tackle the growing challenge of surface water management. Combining performance, durability, and ease of installation, the system features troughs, stackers, and drainage mats that work together to manage excess water effectively.

Attendees can visit Stand 9 in the Outdoor Exhibition Area to explore the full system and speak with the Rosehill team about real-world applications, technical specs, and how it’s already supporting highways projects across the UK.

This year’s Innovation & Learning Festival is your chance to explore the ideas, tools, and solutions shaping the future of local roads and infrastructure. Whether you’re coming to discover new approaches, see innovation in action, or share knowledge with peers, you’ll leave with practical insights to take back to your team.

Plan your visit now – view the latest agenda and exhibitor floorplan on the event website and download the official festival app on apple or google play to make the most of your time at the event.
