FM Conway, has secured a new suite of contracts to deliver highway maintenance services borough wide, for the London Borough of Bromley.
The three new contracts comprise major works, minor works and highway drainage cleansing, with a combined estimated value of £106 million over the life of the contract. The FM Conway teams are already successfully working in the borough, with the three separate contracts starting on 1 July 2026 and running for six years, with the opportunity for two further two‑year extensions.
Bromley is London’s largest borough by area and is responsible for 850 miles of pavement or footway, over 520 miles of carriageway, 28,000 street lighting assets, including street signs, and 35,000 gullies used for road drainage. The new appointment means that FM Conway will support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of this extensive highway network, including installing bespoke traffic schemes. This work will draw on the full breadth of the FM Conway’s self‑delivery capability, digital systems and in‑house materials expertise.
