Lincolnshire: 13 contractors win £150m highways framework berths

Lincolnshire County Council has picked a 13-strong line-up of contractors for its new four-year highways framework. Firms selected will carry out general works and major resurfacing jobs worth up to £150m, says Construction Enquirer.

The framework will run from January 2026 to January 2030 and is split into three lots for schemes ranging from small junction improvements to big-ticket A-road upgrades and primary route resurfacing across the county.

General works £0-£1.5m (Total value £18m)

  • Daniel Charles Construction
  • Fox (Owmby)
  • Holcim UK
  • PBS Construction (North East)

General works £1.5-£6m (Total value £56m)

  • Breheny Civil Engineering
  • C R Reynolds
  • Danaher & Walsh (Civil Engineering)
  • Jackson Civil Engineering
  • Winvic Construction

Major highway resurfacing works £0-£6m (Total value £76m)

  • C R Reynolds
  • Hanson Quarry Products Europe
  • Holcim UK
  • Tarmac Trading
  • Thomas Bow

It was reported that a further dozen firms made unsuccessful bids.
