M Group Services announces appointment of Archie Norman as non-executive Chairman

Infrastructure company M Group Services has appointed Archie Norman as non-executive Chairman.

Mr Norman’s record has included being an MP for eight years, Chairman of the telecommunications business Energis as well as spells as Chief Executive and Chairman of Asda, Chairman of Marks and Spencer and ITV, and a management consultant with McKinsey.

Within infrastructure, he has been a director with Railtrack, and was Shadow Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions. He co-founded the think tank Policy Exchange and was the lead non-executive board member at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) for four years, until 2020.
