The M42 will have a series of closures this weekend for HS2 works.
The northbound carriageway will be fully closed between junctions 6 (Bickenhill Interchange) and 8 (Coleshill) from 9pm this Friday, 23 June through to 5am on Monday, 26 June.
The southbound carriageway will remain open during the day but will be shut overnight between junctions 9 (Dunton Interchange) and 6 (Bickenhill) at the following times:
- from 9pm on Friday 23 June to 6am on Saturday 24 June;
- from 9pm on Saturday 24 June to 6am on Sunday 25 June; and
- from 9pm on Sunday 25 June to 5am on Monday 26 June.
Both link roads from the M6 to the M42 will also be closed at the same times.
