Major review of TOPAS2500 UK traffic signal controller standard initiated

The TOPAS Management Board has initiated a major review of the UK standard for traffic signal controllers.

They Board has commissioned a development team from ARTSM to review the scope and coverage of 2500 adding new content for LRT, reviewing pedestrian facilities, and considering requirements for CAV to align it with current and future traffic control needs.

In order to make this review as effective as possible the development group are asking for  input from everyone in the signal community.  If there is anything that you think should be covered and is not in 2500 or if there are parts of the standard that could be made obsolete or that do not your cover particular needs, or where there is room for improvement then the development group ask that you download and fill out a comments sheet from the TOPAS website here
