Highway Care has announced three members of staff have been awarded the RoSPA Pride Award 2020 for saving a colleague’s life.

Seb Ward, HSEQ Manager, Tyley Boozer, Finance Administrator and Brett Southgate, Operations Supervisor have been given the RoSPA 2020 Inspiration Pride Award in honour of their courage, bravery and calmness in delivering CPR to their colleague Martin and keeping him alive after he suffered a heart attack.

Andrew MacCuish, Highway Care’s Operations Director said: “I am extremely proud that Brett, Seb and Tyley have been recognised officially by RoSPA for their quick thinking and heroic actions in providing an amazing first response to the aid of their colleague Martin, who suffered from cardiac arrest. Had it not been for their actions to deliver first aid supported by using a portable defibrillator, Martin would not be with us today.  If any business considers to not getting staff trained on first aid or in procuring a defibrillator. I implore you to take action now to save a life!”
