National Highways has re-signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging to provide a supportive route into a civilian career for ex-services personnel. We appreciate the unique set of skills and expertise they can bring to our work, and we work with them to make sure they can make an immediate contribution.
The Government-owned company’s Chief Digital and Information Officer Richard Pedley (pictured left) made the pledge alongside Air Commodore Adam Sansom (right) and members of our Armed Forces Network.
National Highways achieved the distinguished Gold Award from the Employer Recognition Scheme from the Ministry of Defence.
It also supports people who are part of reserve forces and cadet adult volunteers with paid time off for training, for example.
