Radar manufacturer Navtech Radar and autonomous vehicle software developers Oxbotica have announced an event to launch their radar localised solution for Connected and Automated Vehicles.
They say the new product will unlock the full potential of automation with “never-seen-before pinpoint-accurate localisation, everywhere, every time”, delivering accurate localisation for autonomous vehicles in all conditions, everywhere.
The companies say their localisation solution, enables autonomous vehicle to answer the fundamental question “Where am I?” in even the harshest environments.
They say this “candid online event” on Wednesday 5 May at 11.30am will be hosted by Dr Inken Braunschmidt, Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at Halma, with Navtech Radar’s Founder and Managing Director, Philip Avery, and Oxbotica Founder and CTO, Professor Paul Newman who will discuss how they joined forces to develop a new radar based localisation.
