Navtech Radar opens new production facility

Radar technology company Navtech Radar has officially opened its new manufacturing facility in Oxfordshire, where the production of its patented radars commenced in January 2021.

The company says the new production facility at Grove Business Park will enable it to meet increasing global demand for its radar-based safety solutions in markets such as highways, security and industrial automation. Navtech’s 360°, long-range, high-definition radars are used in critical applications, and are rigorously tested during our manufacturing process. It says this custom-built manufacturing facility will ensure it “continues to maintain its high production standards, whilst producing even more radars, even more efficiently”.

Navtech Radar says that, as an award-winning designer and manufacturer of commercially deployed radar solutions, it is constantly innovating to deliver on the potential of radar, with a new radar localisation solution for autonomous vehicles coming to market this year.

“We are proud to be a British exporter, who provides world-leading safety equipment for critical applications. Our new facility will support this work,” commented Philip Avery, Founder and Managing Director at Navtech Radar.
