North East Lincolnshire Council is continuing to invest in roads across the borough, with a programme of surface dressing and remedial works set to take place across a number of locations in the coming weeks.
The works form part of the Council’s ongoing highway maintenance programme and are designed to improve road surfaces, extend the lifespan of roads and help reduce the need for more extensive repairs in the future.
As part of the programme, a number of roads will undergo remedial works following last year’s surface dressing scheme, whilst a new series of roads will receive surface dressing treatments as part of the 2026 programme.
Temporary traffic management, including road closures and parking restrictions where required, will be in place to allow the works to be completed safely. Residents and businesses affected by the programme will be notified in advance.
The schedule remains subject to change due to weather conditions or operational requirements. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time for journeys and follow any signed diversions while works are underway.
