Record numbers sign up to JCT Traffic Signals Symposium networking events

The organisers of the popular JCT Traffic Signals Symposium in Nottingham next month say more attendees than ever before have signed up to join their social gatherings on the Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, “proving they remain a key part of the overall event.”

The Symposium brings together the UK’s leading experts in traffic management to discuss the latest technology and see 30 organisations exhibiting.

“The papers and exhibition are, of course, central to the Symposium, but I don’t think it’d be half the event it is without our networking evenings,” explained event organiser John Nightingale.  “We have the welcome barbecue on the Tuesday night sponsored by Telent and the traditional Yunex Traffic gala dinner on the Wednesday preceded by the SWARCO Drinks Reception where the industry gets together and a lot of interesting knowledge sharing takes place in a relaxed social setting.”

Both nights feature free refreshments thanks to the support of a consortium of exhibitors who fund the evenings’ drinks.  These are: ARTSM, NAL, SRL, SWARCO, and TRP.   Wednesday’s lunch is sponsored by TRL.

The 29th JCT Traffic Signals Symposium at Nottingham Trent University takes place Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 September, with the first evening social event and the MOVA User Group taking place the day before.  To join local authorities, academics and suppliers at the event, click here to sign up.

Hotel rooms for the event are being snapped up quickly, so the organisers urge would-be delegates to book as soon as possible so they can take advantage of preferential rates in Nottingham city centre.
