Rennicks to unveil next-generation radar technology

Rennicks will unveil the new Houston Radar PX150 – a next-generation multi-lane tracking radar – at Highways UK next week at the NEC, Birmingham (Stand C12).

The PX150 represents a significant step forward in intelligent traffic detection and monitoring, combining advanced radar precision with integrated HD video to deliver reliable, real-time insights for a wide range of applications – from highways and intersections to wrong-way detection sites.

Compact, powerful, and built to perform in all weather conditions, the PX150 can track vehicles across multiple lanes and directions, identify stopped or wrong-way vehicles, and provide zone-based movement tracking with HD video verification. Its seamless Tetryon cloud integration enables operators to capture, review, and respond to incidents faster than ever before.

Robert Tait, Sales Director at Rennicks, commented:

“We’re really excited to bring the PX150 to the UK market. It’s a major leap forward in radar-based traffic monitoring – combining precision, reliability, and visual verification in one compact unit. Visitors to Highways UK will be able to see firsthand how the PX150 complements our growing range of radar technologies and how it’s helping to shape the future of intelligent traffic management.”

The PX150 launch will complement Rennicks’ existing radar portfolio, including the SpeedLane® Pro – designed for accurate, non-intrusive multi-lane traffic data collection – and the Armadillo Tracker, a portable radar for quick, sustainable traffic surveys. Together, these systems provide a full suite of solutions for both temporary and permanent traffic monitoring.

Visitors to Stand C12 at Highways UK will be able to meet the Rennicks team and see live demonstrations of the PX150 and other radar technologies on display.
