Safer Highways has launched a special edition of its SH Magazine for Mental Health Awareness Week, alongside a series of high-impact videos.
Published using a new interactive format, which includes video, edition 11 of SH magazine focuses on a range of interviews and articles aimed at increasing awareness and championing best practice around mental health and wellbeing.
Also as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Safer Highways are launching our Big Conversation Series, designed to break stigma around mental health through talking about our issues.
In the first of these, Karl Simons meets Jack Green, the double olympic athlete who famously fell whilst competing in the 400m hurdlers at the 2012 London Olympics. As one of the favourites, having just beaten the Olympic champion two weeks earlier, Green never made the final.
As part of The Big Conversation, Jack talks about the impact this and the subsequent failure to win a medal in the relay at the same event had upon his mental health.
