Global traffic radar sensors and solutions company smartmicro has introduced a new radar for detection of a range of traffic scenarios.
Called TOPGRD, the sensor can do the work of up to 32 in-road loops, with configurable detection zones.
The company describes it as the radar is described as cost-effective with a compact form and low power consumption which does not require maintenance, greatly reducing both hardware and installations costs.
smartmicro explains that TOPGRD has compatibility to Super Resolution AI Tracking, enhanced range, and a wider field of view, making it “a go-to choice for intersection and highway management”.
TOPGRD can use frequencies of 77, 79, and 80GHz, making it adaptable to diverse regulatory environments, enabling seamless deployment across many regions. smartmicro says “the all-new sensor stands out with its unparalleled precision and extended range.”
