TRL appoints Mat Brough as Director of Asset Management

TRL has announce the appointment of Dr Mat Brough as its new Director of Asset Management. Mat joins TRL from Arcadis, bringing with him a wealth of experience in asset management, data-driven infrastructure solutions, and sustainable transport strategy.

With a distinguished background in delivering transformative asset management projects across the highways and rail sectors, Mat will lead TRL’s Asset Management Business in driving innovation and delivering intelligent, sustainable solutions for clients in the UK and globally. His focus will include advancing TRL’s data-led approaches to asset resilience, testing, and lifecycle optimisation, helping transport networks become safer, smarter and more sustainable, whilst helping clients balance cost, risk and performance.
