The Transport Technology Forum is inviting industry suppliers to a webinar outlining the new Connected Vehicle Services (CVS) Framework which will define the services that are expected to be provided to road users and operators in the future by harnessing vehicle and infrastructure data sets.

Consultation on the CVS Framework gives stakeholders from the public and private sectors the opportunity to work with the Department for Transport to define the services included in the Framework.

After a series of in-person meetings with local authorities late last year, this webinar on 9 February will invite industry to hear about, and engage with, the development of the CVS Framework and its emerging priorities, and discuss how existing or planned products or services can align with it.

Specifically, the webinar will help the supply chain understand how Connected Vehicle Services will shape system and technology requirements, gain early visibility of policy thinking and contribute to the development and evolution of the CVS Framework.

The webinar will also seek to hear views on the commercial feasibility and scalability of CVS services, market readiness and capability across different service types, barriers that could prevent delivery at scale and the most important enablers needed from government.

No prior knowledge of the Connected Vehicle Services Framework is required to attend this webinar.

The conversation is designed to help develop relevant policies to support the rollout of connected services and help to provide certainty to the sector when thinking of local policy, research, development and funding.
