The Transport Technology Forum will return to the Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island in Leicestershire for next year’s Annual Conference from 6-8 May 2025.
The event has grown significantly in popularity over the past few years and the overwhelming feedback was that the larger, out-of-town location worked well for both the knowledge sharing and networking aspects of the event. The hotel is able to accommodate more local authority representatives and exhibitors than previous conference locations.
As always, the conference will focus on how technology can help solve road transport challenges. It will feature details of the new government’s priorities and policies, the funding landscape and share examples of best practice around digital solutions, cybersecurity and collaboration. Delegates will also hear updates on the important work being carried out by the TTF Working Groups.
Working with the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) which organises the conferences, the TTF will again offer fully-funded places for local authority representatives from across the UK at next May’s event. This not only makes it easier for them to attend, but also attracts more of the supply chain who are able to hold more discussions with more of their existing and potential customers.
“Having hosted previous conferences in Bristol, Liverpool and Leeds, we found moving out of smaller city centre locations really worked,” commented LCRIG CEO Paula Claytonsmith. “The Leonardo hotel is perfect – we have access to 240 on-site rooms, a large conference capacity and plenty of room for our exhibitors. And it’s only a couple of miles from Hinckley railway station so people don’t have to drive to get there.”
Bookings are now open. Visit the website to find details of sponsorship and exhibitor packages and the registration form to apply for local authority fully-funded places which include a delegate pass, hotel accommodation and catering and refreshments.
.The TTF will also be playing an active role in the LCRIG Innovation and Learning Festival in Warwickshire on 2 and 3 July, as well as the Strictly Highways conference at the beginning of October. The TTF Autumn Update will again take place next November.
