The specialist eCall consultancy and software company VESOS Solutions has recruited three international experts to help deliver growing demand for its services across Europe.

eCall automatically raises the alarm in the event of a crash when the airbags are deployed, and it can also be manually activated by the driver or passenger by pressing the eCall SOS button. It has been installed in all newly approved cars and vans across the UK and Europe since 2018.
VESOS was founded in 2022 by ITS and transport consultants Andy Graham, Danny Woolard, Alan Gentle and Andy Rooke and has won awards for its TeCall platform which filters, enhances, prioritises and forwards eCall incidents that emergency services need, in the form they need, in seconds.
The company is currently working with the RAC Foundation, Reed Mobility and the Department for Transport on a project to enhance the use of eCall data in road safety , is leading the British contribution to Europe’s review of the emergency alerting system’s services across the continent, helping Ireland improve its use of eCall to better respond to eCall alerts and working with several other road operators across Europe.
“eCall is a prime example of using technology to solve transport problems and save lives and is exactly the sort of thing that attracted me to joining the ITS sector 20 years ago,” explained Rachael Quinn. “VESOS’s development and enhancement of eCall data affords a massive opportunity to deliver gains and return on investment for all stakeholders and I’m thrilled to be contributing my Operational Delivery experience to this fantastic team.”
Pierre Bouché added: “I’m thrilled to join Vesos as a strategic adviser, leveraging my expertise to help their experienced and committed team scale a life-saving solution and make a transformative impact,” while Andras Csepinszky said: “I worked with Andy Rooke on the original eCall specifications and standards and am excited to be part of the VESOS team taking the value of the technology to a whole new level.”
Founder Andy Graham commented: “By welcoming Andras, Rachael and Pierre into the team, we can speed up delivery of TeCall and our other expertise to maximise the value that eCall can bring to road safety in the UK and across Europe. To echo the words of Sir Robert Mark, I am convinced it’s a major contribution to road safety.”
