Intelligent traffic management and enforcement solutions company Videalert has announced the appointment of David Walter as Hosted Systems Engineer.

The company says that in this new role he will be responsible for providing technical support for the company’s hosted CCTV enforcement platform which is now used by more than fifty councils across the UK. David will be a key member of Videalert’s help desk team which supports clients and conducts pro-active system checks to ensure that installed systems deliver over 99% uptime with increased productivity.

The experienced IT implementation and support professional and joins direct from Concentrix, a global business services company, where he held a number of key positions including IT Operations Analyst.  In this role, he was responsible for ensuring uninterrupted operational services to clients, maintaining enterprise wi-fi infrastructures and launching projects for blue-chip clients in the financial, telecoms and transport sectors.  Prior to this, he was Systems Administrator at Genesis Investment Trust.
