WSP has been re-appointed by West Sussex County Council to continue providing highways, transport and planning consultancy services across the county.
The extension continues a long-standing partnership between WSP and the Council, supporting the delivery of highways, transport and infrastructure services across West Sussex.
Under the renewed agreement, WSP will continue to provide professional services across highways, transport and planning, supporting West Sussex County Council with scheme development, technical advice, programme delivery, asset management and wider consultancy services.
Since the start of the current contract, WSP has supported 442 projects to May 2026, generating nearly £3m in social value through the National TOMs framework. The partnership has supported major transport and infrastructure priorities across West Sussex, including the Lyminster Bypass, A29 realignment and A259 Bognor Regis to Littlehampton corridor improvements.
Alongside technical delivery, WSP has contributed to STEM engagement, volunteering, mentoring, local employment and supply chain spend across the county.
Rachel Skinner, Managing Director for Transport & Mobility, WSP UK & Ireland, said:
“We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership with West Sussex County Council, supporting the delivery of highways, transport and planning services across the county. By combining trusted technical advice with local knowledge and practical delivery support, we can continue to help connect communities, support economic growth and enable more sustainable travel for people across West Sussex.”
The continued partnership will help the Council progress its transport and infrastructure priorities while drawing on WSP’s local knowledge, technical capability and experience delivering community-focused schemes across West Sussex.
