Devon seeks approval for £4m Exeter to Cranbrook cycle route

Devon County Council is seeking approval for a £4.2 million cycling and walking route between Exeter and Cranbrook.

The council’s Cabinet will consider the proposals on 11 March, which would complete a missing link in the active travel network by creating a one kilometre off-road path through green space between the Mosshayne and Tithebarn development area and Cranbrook, says The Business Desk.

The scheme includes a new bridge over the River Clyst and would connect to existing paths through Clyst Meadows Country Park, Exeter’s strategic cycle network.
