TRL has announced the appointment of David Sharratt as Chief Commercial Officer. David joins TRL with more than 25 years of international experience as a board director and executive, spanning a wide range of industries and geographies. His career has focused on delivering growth, leading turnarounds, creating value, and driving strategic change acrosssectors including utility-scale renewables, technology, retail, transport and logistics, chemicals, satellite services, public safety, brand protection, and government services.
Most recently, David served as Managing Director of Authentication at De La Rue. Prior to that, he was Vice President, International at Array Technologies, where he delivered significant sales growth across EMEA and Latin America. Earlier in his career, David held a number of senior business development roles at Honeywell International, working across its Global Tracking, Scanning and Mobility, and Chemicals business units.
David is recognised for his balanced, data-informed, and pragmatic approach to strategy and decision-making. He is particularly passionate about building high-performing teams, creating clarity, strengthening capability, and enabling people to deliver strong, sustainable results.
In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, David will lead TRL’s global commercial strategy, focusing on accelerating growth, expanding market presence, and enhancing client value.
