BMW Group has announced the integration of ITVX streaming into the operating system of 250,000 BMW and Mini models, through an integrated app store, says Business Motoring.

A BMW Digital Premium or Mini Connected Package is required, while streaming on the central display is only available when the car is parked.

For cars equipped with passenger-side displays, or the rear BMW Theatre Screen, streaming is possible when the car is moving.

ITVX streaming will be available on the BMW iX3 and recently-announced facelifted 7 Series first.
