Amey’s been appointed as the new maintenance and improvement provider for motorways and trunk roads across the south western Scotland.

From August 2020, Amey will run the £400m contract for a minimum of eight years, with an option for a further four which would make the total contract value of £690m.

It’ll will deliver engineering design and operational delivery services for more than 375 miles of road with a focus on “delivering reliable journey times and a high level of customer care for the people and businesses that use these roads every day”.
