Award hopefuls have two extra weeks to enter Highways UK Awards

The organisers of Highways UK have announced that the deadline to enter their Excellence Awards has been extended by two weeks to midnight on Friday 21 July.

The categories to enter are:

Associate Laureates (Rising Star)
Laureates (Lifetime Achievement)
Net-Zero Award
Social Value Award
Innovation Award
Major Project Award
Onsite Safety Award
Road User Safety Award
Start-up of the Year
Team of the Year

The event takes place on 18 and 19 October at the NEC. Highways News is Media Partner and will be delivering daily podcasts. Highways News co-owner Adrian Tatum is a member of the Programme Committee and will be chairing sessions at Highways UK, while co-owner Paul Hutton hosts the keynote session on Day One featuring key industry figures including National Highways CEO Nick Harris.

Highways UK has announced its Platinum Sponsors for the event. These are Arcadis, Amey, Mott MacDonald, Skanska, Tarmac, Jacobs and Ringway.
