Transport for Wales is developing a new traffic model to address congestion in Chepstow, with short-term measures also under consideration.
Catherine Fookes MP met with Welsh Government Transport Minister Ken Skates, Monmouthshire County Council Deputy leader and Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Development, Cllr Paul Griffiths, and representatives from Transport for Wales to discuss progress on tackling congestion around High Beech Roundabout in Chepstow, says the Chepstow Beacon.
The group visited the site on Thursday to understand the latest developments and discuss next steps. The visit highlights how Monmouthshire MP, Welsh Government and Monmouthshire County Council are working together to push for real action on Chepstow’s traffic problems.
