Welsh local authority Cyngor Gwynedd Council has started the search for contractors for a £100m civil engineering contract.
Cyngor Gwynedd published a prior-information notice for a four-lot deal, which will cover civil engineering works on major and minor highways in the region. This includes; Conwy and Denbighshire; Flintshire and Wrexham; and West Wales and the Valleys.
The council is leading procurement for the North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent Civil Engineering Construction Works Framework Contract 2024, reports Construction News.
Work allocated under the third lot of the framework will be valued at under £1m and based in North Wales, while jobs handed out under lot four will also be small in scale, but based in mid-Wales.
A formal contract notice is expected in late October.
