DfT releases maintenance funding allocations for councils for 2020-2021

The Department for Transport (DfT) has released information on the highway maintenance allocations for each highway authority in England for the period 2002 and 2021.

Local authorities including Cornwall, Devon and Kent won extra funding through the Challenge Fund and Pothole Fund.

The funding has once again been based on road length data by council and all takes into consideration each of the authorities assets such as streetlights and bridges.
