The reduction in travel during the Coronavirus crisis, and the subsequent improvement in air quality, seems to be making more people think about buying an electric vehicle.
A survey by Venson Automotive Solutions says 45% of respondents said radical improvement on air pollution has made them reconsider their electric vehicle ownership plans.
19% said their next car will be an EV, with the remaining 26% confirming they intend to become an EV driver in the next 5 years. A previous survey found that 31% wouldn’t switch for another 10-15 years, suggesting the environmental issues has accelerated a change of heart since the virus hit.
