Leading infrastructure services company FM Conway has been awarded a five-year term contract with the City of London Corporation to provide highway improvements and maintenance works across the City’s unique public realm.
The contract, valued at an estimated £10m per annum, will run for five years from 1 July 2022, with the option of a further five-year extension. The scope will see FM Conway deliver high-quality construction and maintenance services encompassing a wide range of assets such as carriageways, footways, bridges, street lighting and drainage systems. In addition to developing and maintaining public spaces within the square mile, the City of London Corporation is also responsible for over 10,000 acres of urban green spaces.
This new partnership will see FM Conway build upon its success of delivering high-profile projects on London’s historic infrastructure, such as the recent refurbishment of London Bridge. The contract is founded upon a partnership approach and the parties will work together to reinforce the City’s global reputation as a vibrant and sustainable hub in the heart of London.
