The UK’s biggest highways and transport exhibition has announced the return of its awards ceremony at the event in October.

The Highways UK Excellence Awards will be held on Wednesday 18 October, aimed at “bringing the community together to celebrate quality and excellence in the Highways industry”.

“After the success of the inaugural Highways UK Excellence Awards last year, we are pleased to announce four new awards focusing on safety and sustainability,” commented Senior Conference Producer Claudia Davidson. “With the roads community under increased scrutiny, it has never been more important to recognise schemes that bring the customer in the heart of the project. The new catergories will reward projects that give back to local communities, protect drivers and workers, and reduce carbon.”
