The UK’s industry association for Intelligent Transport Systems is highlighting the role its members are playing in this Scotland’s leading exhibition and conference for the highways and transport industry, Road Expo Scotland.
Along with ITS (UK) itself, a further 13 members are taking exhibition stands at the two-day event, while there are a dozen speakers are from member organisations.
ITS (UK) is an event partner, and has played a major role in arranging the Road Expo programme this year, helping place intelligent transport systems at the cutting edge of the debate with expert speakers delivering must-see presentations.
ITS (UK) will also have a stand, B36. Members are encouraged to come and say hello, while non-members can find out more about the benefits of joining the Society.
“Road Expo Scotland & Bridges Scotland, along with longstanding host Transport Scotland, are delighted to be partnering once more with ITS (UK) this 1-2 December at the SEC Glasgow. We’d also like to welcome all Executive Members and members.Clearview Intelligence, Gaist, SRL Traffic Systems, Transport Scotland and WSP, along with members Coeval, Hill & Smith, Q-Free, Rennicks (UK), Vaisala and Yunex Traffic,” says organiser Craig Donovan, Transport Portfolio Divisional Director at the Hemming Group.
“This year’s free-to-attend CPD-credited seminars have been curated to cover all the big topics including net zero, climate change, safety, Active Travel & accessibility – a programme that clearly echoes ITS (UK)’s focus on using technology to improve safety, increase mobility and reduce the environmental impact of travel,” he continued. “We cannot begin to tell you how excited we are to be gathering together and networking once again with key representatives from across the Scottish road and bridge sectors – both public and private; it will definitely be one not to miss!”
